The film is constructed entirely from archival footage shot during the festival, offering a vivid, fly-on-the-wall perspective of both the performances and the behind-the-scenes efforts required to stage such a massive event. The documentary balances electrifying concert footage with candid moments of preparation, artist interactions, and glimpses of daily life in Kinshasa, Zaire (now known as the Democratic Republic of the Congo).
